U of Waterloo School of Pharmacy Receives 2010 Innovation Award

PPC congratulates the University of Waterloo - School of Pharmacy on receiving the 2010 Innovation Award!

The award was presented to the School of Pharmacy on Wednesday, March 3 rd by the Greater Kitchener-Waterloo Chamber of Commerce. The School of Pharmacy exemplified creativity and innovation in their products and processes this year, as well as creating the institution and campus of the future – one that is dynamic, flexible, built on partnerships and is actively engaged with the community. The culmination of these elements was recognized in the receipt of this distinguished award.

Other nominees in the category included distinguished businesses such as: Agfa HealthCare, Manulife Financial, Christie Digital Systems, Maplesoft, and DALSA Corporation. On behalf of the School of Pharmacy Laura Manning, Director - Advancement stated, "to be recognized for innovation in a region like ours, and with such competitors, is a tremendous honour.”
