CAPT – 2009 Professional Development Conference Takes Place in Halifax

The Canadian Association of Pharmacy Technicians held their Annual National Professional Development Conference in Halifax, Nova Scotia from May 8th–10th.

Over 100 pharmacy technicians from across the country attended the 2-day event. The program included presentations on issues such as trends in Pharmacy and their impact on pharmacy technicians, pharmaceutical supply chains, and a technician’s experience of practice in Qatar.  Workshops covered a wide range of topics from compression therapy to diabetic neuralgia, to the new proposed Methadone guidelines.

A terrific gala evening was held on Saturday night with several local bands performing throughout the night.

PPC would like to thank everyone who stopped by our booth and would like to congratulate CAPT on a very successful 2009 PDC.
